(07/04-2015) – Farming can be dangerous if you are on a PvP or RPPvP realm. On every realm, you have people known as gankers: Originally, ganking was when people were more than one attacking a player from the opposite faction (from the words “gang killing”), but nowadays, it refers mostly to higher level killing lower level (today’s gang-killing is mostly called “zerging”).
However, even if you don’t get ganked, you might get caught into PvP and it is not always interesting. I mean, when I am farming ores or flowers, I don’t really have time to waste on PvP’ing. I’d rather let him have one spot and I fly or ride to another location.
Therefore, the little add-on known as Spy, is a great help.
You can find this add-on on Curse, right here => http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/spy
This add-on scans for enemy players and announces their presence when they are detected. If the player is fighting a mob, for example, Spy will attempt to determine the class, race and level of the player.
When the new season starts, no problems. Most players use the honor points they get from battleground or from killing players to upgrade their gear (or buy it).
However, when the season is well advanced, and when you are geared, the question shows up on forums, in trade-chat, in guild-chat and everywhere else:
“What can I do with my honor points?”
Here are some ideas:
(05/02-2014) – A quick way to make a lot of gold is to solo old raids. I generally solo WOTLK-raids regularly. They give less gold than Cataclysm-raid but they are all on the same continent (Northrend) so it is quick to go from one to the other. The Cataclysm raids are further apart from each other, so it is a bit boring.
One place, where you can earn a bunch of gold is Firelands.
Firelands entrance is located in Mount Hyjal in Kalimdor. It is in Sulfuron Spire, the giant lava lake on the south part of the map. You can’t miss it.
Now when Blizzard has squished the old content, this instance is very easy to clear. You don’t need any special gear or spec. Any DPS-class will work just fine.
(03/11-2014) – The Darkmoon Faire is in town the first week out of every month. Not much unknown in that, that’s right.
If you are used to go to Darkmoon Faire, you will notice some changes and there are more to come. If you are not used to go to Darkmoon Faire, you’d better get used to it. It is a must and there is a lot of exciting stuff in there.
First of all, you can gain +5 in each of your profession by doing very easy quests (plus eventually xp’s). This works for every primary and every secondary profession. These quest are non repeatable (on the same Darkmoon Faire; you will be able to make them again the month after).
Then there are dailies… And with patch 6.0.2, there are more dailies than before.
The quests, all the quests, dailies or not, reward you with one or more Darkmoon Prize Tickets. This is a currency used in Darkmoon Faire. With that, you can buy mounts, battle-pets, pets, heirlooms, transmog sets and many other things.
Remember that, when you have been to your first Darkmoon Faire and got your “Darkmoon Adventurer’s Guide”, you can collect items from dead players in PvP or from bosses, that you can hand in to different NPC’s in the Faire. In return, you get additional Darkmoon Prize Tickets.
In the new Back Market Auction House (which has moved from Pandaria to Nagrand), you can buy the Darkmoon Ticket Fanny Pack which contains from 400 to 500 Darkmoon Prize Tickets.
From now on, the level 85 upgraded heirlooms are only on sale in Dakrmoon Faire, as well as shields and off hands. So if you need those, don’t miss it!
Many people have problems finding their way around Undercity, and Nimrasil – for one – doesn’t blame them. So she asked me to make a tour guide to help understanding the system in Undercity, and how you can easily find your way around this horde city.
If you’re collecting pets in World of Warcraft, either for fun or the achievements, you definitely should get this rare Jubling Frog.
It’s cute; it catches flies and jumps – and you can almost acquire it for free.
I like Undercity, but it can be somewhat annoying to get from point A to point B in that city.
Scorpyo made a video that shows you how to find your way around Undercity.
But even with the help of that video, it takes time to get from the portal and to the outside of the city where you can fly freely.
Let me ask you a question: What do you normally do if you’re in the main city, near all the portals, and you’re supposed to go to the zeppelin that will take you to Howling Fjord?
When Blizzard invented the Real ID, it made me really happy, because that meant I could keep in contact with friends from other realms or even factions.
But, alas, unless you were in a guild with them, you couldn’t share your achievements with them. And friends are often more willing to “grats” you than guildies…
While I was searching for something completely different, I stumbled upon a nice addon that made it possible to share the good news with friends all over Azeroth.
